Do you ever just think about the fact that hundreds of dudes would pile into a ship and just sail around??? And like they only had math and the stars to guide them??? And they wouldn’t get super lost all the time?? And that the way they made the ship go faster or slower or turn the right way was to climb hundreds of feet into the air and move some bed sheets around on a stick??? And sometimes they would pull up alongside another ship and bomb the fuck out of them with canons??? The age of sail was so fucking wild man…
