actually, i do know how to explain it! if you have to turn a political movement that protests against systemic violence and racism into an aesthetic for it to become worthy of your attention, you do not actually care about said movement. people are dying, cops are getting away with murder, the government has so much blood on its hands–protests are not pretty, revolution is not pretty, fighting for your rights and those of others is not pretty. stop trying to change that just because it feels “yoo harsh” for your aesthetic.
